  1. I fix meal packs in a food prep kit I got online called a jax pack I can fix enough for 1-3 days depending on which pack I fill. I find fixing full on meals in advance...think something that looks great bento style and smells amazing to make others jealous and make it look pretty so you can smile when you pull it out and brag about it.....I had to go the...
  2. I have seen this a few times....run a gluten free bakery....one of my previous customers has the disease, but he gawks at my prices and then goes eats from other stores and consumes gluten products.....I tried offering freebies left over items to get him to switch....been watching him degrade over the past 3 years. He now walks...odd like Frankenstein with...
  3. Yeah I thought that rant might make me look like a queer after reading it a bit later.....I am straight btw I just have very long and fine hair...that yeah it blows everywhere and gets in my mouth sometimes, and always pushing it with my hands or having to tie it up. I blew up because it sometimes feels like I am talking to a bunch jocks with buzz cuts when...
  4. B-vitamins...most gluten and processed foods are enriched...your basically eating a multivitamin every time you have a slice of bread etc. Look for a full spectrum B-vitamin supplement, others can be magnesium, iron, vitamin d, folate, etc. You mention plenty of greens and fruit so ruling out vitamin A,C,K, and a few others. Hmm did you drop off your carbs...
  5. Well was trying it in smoothies, and puddings...but yeah I can see it especially with the jelling effects causing some issues...will try again later. I changed over to pumpkin seeds higher in zinc today for my rotation. PS I am allergic to corn..and any kind of sugar messes with me. SO most meds are off limits. I went with Immunity Tea from Republic of...
  6. I have had rolling food intolerance issues and stuff crop up for years....but this time it was seemly triggered by a cold. I got a cold this weekend standard fever, stuffy nose, coughing gunk up, head pressure, random dizzy spells etc. Anyway I was eating on my chia seed rotation before getting it just fine...but about halfway into my cold I started having...
  7. Thinking I saw this earlier on another post....anyway I do have a thought on this. I get little blood blisters and sores in my mouth, and on my tongue from things I ended with allergies to. With celiac being a autoimmune disease it can sometimes effect your immune system, like make you more prone to random food allergies, histamine issues, food intolerance...
  8. As mentioned above is true, I used to love fruit I got other AI diseases and some other issues that prevent me from eating fruit but I am a freak lol. ANYWAY since your new I will link you the newbie 101 threads. I would be more concerned with hidden gluten in your old condiment filled with crumbs, your pasta strainer, cutting boards and and scratched pots...
  9. I do highly doubt it contains gluten, but this question goes along the lines of would you put vital wheat gluten in your laudery? What about flour all over you clothes, and wheat spray.......yeah no cause then you touch your clothes then your mouth, wipe your mouth with your sleeve, do you dish towels in it then wipe all your cooking surfaces down with wheat...
  10. Get pictures if you can and contact GFWD if true and perhaps we can inform others better about this issue.
  11. First this is a old post please check date, second, are you celiac/been tested? You should probably see about a gluten challenge and testing if you have not. Or are you confirmed to have a gluten/wheat allergy? What kind of testing was done to determine this? Or is it a NCGS gluten issue? Sorry for the questions but different people have different issues...
  12. Magnesium, B-vitamins, Vitamin D etc. Should probably be supplemented. For the fog, stress, brain issues I swear by my regime of Liquid Health Stress & Energy, and Liquid Health Neurlogical support 1tbsp each 3 times a day in a beverage before a meal. Works wonders, magnesium is also wonderful, you did not mention constipation or D so I do not know which...
  13. Soft blended, soups, porridge, Personally I had to avoid the follow for my last gluten attack Spices (made it burn), any carbs, sugars even in trace amounts caused gas, We normally suggest removing dairy and oats also as they become problematic during healing. Simple soft cooked egg dishes (coconut/almond meal quiche and microwaved omelettes), nut meal porridge...
  14. If your concerned on wheat/gluten, see about getting a actual celiac blood test done, you have to be eating wheat for the test to be accurate. After that you will need the follow up endoscope and biopsy. Open Original Shared Link
  15. I play a few online games...not as much as I used to, and I no longer really do the social aspect of them. EVE Online when bored I might just get on it and mine some asteroids, or run missions while watching anime or reading a book...makes me feel productive "Multitasking" lol. I have a few phone/tablet games like TrainStation where you just send trains out...
  16. Two options for online noodles that are lower carb, the cellophane noodles as suggested but I really do swear by Miracle Noodles which are No to low carb. They have and adjustment phase...they are pure fiber noodles. They can cause issues if your not used to them, or if you have bad gut bacteria. But they have enabled me to enjoy pasta, rice, and noodle dishes...
  17. Nutritional Yeast is something completely different....stick to KAL brand or BRAGGS brand they are safe. It is a inactive yeast and is a super food chock full of all kinds of vitamins/minerals. Has a deep nutty/cheesy flavor. I use it to make vegan cheese sauces, vegan cheese, seasonings ,etc. Sweetener and vanilla and it taste a bit like cream cheese......
  18. It makes digestion easier...I like to blend my meals and cook them like blending veggies into my eggs with coconut flour and almond flour, almond milk to keep it moist and cooking it slow and low or in a microwave to make super soft egg dishes that do not need to be chewed much, or blended soups, porridge made of nut meals, etc. I turn to these when my stomach...
  19. Got a cold this week end, threw my gut in a wack. been eating nothing but nut meal porridge for the past few days. Base is 2 cups liquid/nutmilk, 2 heaping tbsp coconut flour 2 tbsp almond flour/butter and sometimes add in a tbsp of ground seeds. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly and it thickens up. I sometimes add in additional nutritional yeast...
  20. Produce waste from your kitchen IE celery butts, carrot tops, apple cores, seeds form melons/squash, and melon/squash rinds. Also hay is nice, I know many give grazing animals alfalfa for treats espesially during winter months.
  21. I was going to chime in as a gluten free chef as to some alternatives here of similar options I have done for people EASY ones get a lundberg rice kit of choice, stir in browned ground meat of choice, sausage, or shrimp. I will link these. Other things I grew up in a Mexican family...we did not do hamburger helper but we did often do something called migas...
  22. Symptoms for this disease constantly change, I could go over my story but it would be a few pages. Chances of cancer are low, you probably just got worse reactions now and this is very common, especially as we start to get it out of our system, our body reacts to it coming back in MUCH for violently. Also Cutting it out now is VERY important I was in my early...
  23. Correct, wheat is a allergy to you like corn is for me I imagine....it started off minor for me actually...just fever....it got worse over the years...now I get blood blisters in my mouth and s$#& blood when I eat it.....if it touches my skin I break out in a rash...>Allergies have tendencies to get worse or better as we get older and like celiac being...
  24. This is a old post from 2013, you might want to put your son back on gluten and do what we refer to as a gluten challenge, and get tested for celiac disease. This might seem odd but you can actually get school plans, and help if your son is medically dianosed with this disease. Even if he does not have celiac there is such a thing as NCGS (Non Celiac Gluten...
  25. I would follow up with a endoscope and biopsy to confirm celiac, please keep eating gluten in the mean time. As for you pancreas issues, I also have a bit of a enzyme issue, never checked for fecal fat....I just take 2x the amount of supplemental pancreatic enzymes to help me break down my food. I got a generic OTC one that uses porcine enzymes...I have some...
