I know how you feel.....I was bowing to the porcelain god on Tuesday and when I was not bowing I was keep the seat nice and warm...not a fun time at the beginning of the week.

Sillies tomorrow is photo shoot day for Weggies, I wish you could all come...I am a bit nervous....right now I am just making sure my outfit is nice.

The new body is the replacement notebook, since I gave up on having the old one run for more than about ten minutes. The brain is a work in progress, as I am still working on getting software and data back in place.

Morning Sillies!

Emily-I am half primped now and the rest will come before I get there...I am nervous though....last night it hit me..I have never done anything like that. The guy who I talk with on the phone keeps telling me it is a lot of fun and the photographer himself is a lot of fun....but it is still nerve racking right now, this is my favorite place in the whole world and now I get to tell everyone why!!!

4 more hours of work until its time!

:lol: Sorry! Having absolutely no background on this, this just caused a schoolgirl type chuckle from me this morning because when I first read it I saw WEDGIES. But, see my response below...

Hi Donna- I am getting my photo taken for Wegmans. I am going to be in their weekly circular, every week they show a customer and the customer says why they shop at that store. So I shop their for my celiac so I am respresenting the celiac community.

Honestly, I did, mainly because Jack keeps looking at me ( like this <_< ) when I use "heinous" in conversation, saying that it sounds like I'm talking about a "bumhole" :lol: . I suggested it as a name while keeping a close eye on my kid, but there is not an emoticon that captures the way his face arranged itself when he heard, "I've got it! How about HEINOUS?" Something like this :blink: , and this :wacko: , and then this :ph34r: . Then he was gone, red-faced, to the bathroom. Poor kid.... :rolleyes::lol:

Anyways, we bought a little blue parakeet, probably a male. Name is to be determined.....

      Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS) is not a common symptom of celiac disease, but there can be occasional overlap—particularly in children. Celiac disease typically presents with symptoms like chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue, and nutrient deficiencies, while CVS is marked by repeated, intense vomiting episodes separated by periods of normal health. In rare cases, undiagnosed celiac disease can cause recurrent vomiting that mimics CVS, and symptoms may resolve on a gluten-free diet. Because of this, celiac disease should be ruled out in anyone diagnosed with CVS, especially if there are other gastrointestinal or nutritional concerns. However, vomiting alone is more often related to other conditions such as migraines or autonomic dysfunction.

      First, be sure to eat tons of gluten in the two weeks leading up to the endoscopy--like 4 slices of wheat bread a day. Talk to your doctor about when to go gluten-free, but normally you can do so after all tests are done.

      Be aware that putting your child on a gluten free diet ahead of an official celiac diagnosis will invalidate any attempt to arrive at an official diagnosis. If at some point in time after commencing a gluten free diet you wish to have your child tested for celiac disease, he/she would need to go back to eating normal amounts of gluten for weeks/months leading up to the testing date. And it is often the case that once gluten has been withdrawn for a significant amount of time, the reactions are much stronger when going back on it.

      I'm investigating the possibility of having celiac disease. My kid has Coffins Lowery syndrome, a rare form of Austism, and constantly has these CVS episodes. We suspect it could be related to Gluten sensitivity or celiac. We just started the diet last week, and we'll keep an eye on any improvements.

      @Scott Adams thank you again!  You definitely 100% get it!!  It's so helpful to know that what I'm going through is normal and part of the process. My endoscopy just got scheduled for June 10 (I'm going to be traveling or else they could have gotten me in earlier) so I have 2 more weeks of eating gluten.  I'm assuming I should just go to the endoscopy and start going gluten free as soon as it's done?  Or should I wait for the biopsy to come back just in case they have to repeat something?
