Simon et Al, The easiest way to get over a thiamine deficiency (not Beri Beri) is to take Magnesium....I was lucky I found Magnesium first....Magnesium Glycinate anytime or Magnesium Citrate with meals... The problem with the test's for a thiamine deficiency is they typically only measure blood levels (which are normally high) ....and not intercellular...

NNowak, My ferritin is not at an action level yet.....but they blamed it mostly on genetics because I am of an age that it develops in most people but I finding inflammation like you mentioned might be the trigger instead. Felix Nuts Tomcat, You might check try doing research on low stomach acid....people who have trouble digesting a high protein meal often have low stomach acid....Pepsin (an enzyme) in the stomach needed for protein digestion is not usually activated unless you have a strong stomach acid. Phosis, B12 has been linked to anxiety in some studies...you also might have high homocysteine levels if you are having trouble with B12....taking PPIs (for over 6 months) can cause us to be low in many Vitamins and Minerals.....looking back on my many health issues at the time...I found taking Riboflavin (B-2) helped my chronic high blood pressure....
