I body build with Cealic, I found with celiac and gut damage topped with a whey allergy vegan protein powders work best. I blend my own by needs. I use Naked Pea as a base, I add in stuff like Jarrow Pumpkin seed protein bit gritty (do read up the benefits) which is high in iron, zinc, magnesium for after workouts to help with recovery. Paleo Food Truck and Catering
Ennis-TX commented on Ennis-TX's blog entry in Daily Life and Compromising
Would have to use canned coconut milk and perhaps gelatin...I would say agar agar but that stuff is super expensive. NOTE I can not use "instant pudding" the stuff contains corn.....I am allergic to it and hte truck is Paleo. But Freezing coconut milk with sweetener into pops would be great, I could mix in Enjoy Life chips like your said for coconut chip... -

I use Spicely Organics for various spices and Big Axe Spice (on amazon or their site) for some GREAT blends, but go easy til you heal at first (odd perspective but think of your intestines and their damage like a carpet burned gut....do you want to rub peppers on that?) I like herb seasoned dishes after a gluten exposure nice and easy like a bit of basil... -
SO life is a mess, and sink or swim. I had to sell my car last week, the market is slow as all hell recently and 2 of my regular customers for my bakery moved. SO I am shifting my focus to catering and my dream food truck. I just finished redoing my food manager certifications, setting up contracts for whole sale accounts with companies. Cleaning out and...

Update, Kettle Emailed me, the chips are gluten free BUT all contain corn derivatives and are not safe for someone with a corn allergy? I sorta wish I had tried eating them to test them, giving the bags I have away and removing from my catering menu with my business.....NEW IDEA, getting a mandolin and thin slicing potatoes....thinking deep frying them in...

Sick for over a month
Ennis-TX replied to troesler's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
We almost always will have much worse reactions with reintroduction of gluten after eliminating it....even residue or crumbs will cause a severe flare. As to the diarrhea....I can take 4-6 weeks after exposure for it to stop...it takes that long for your antibodies to come down after even just that crumb (I got glutened slightly about 4 weeks ago...so yeah... -
Peripheral Neuropathy & Suddenly Allergic to EVERYTHING
Ennis-TX replied to GFBecki's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Few thoughts, it could be a histamine issues look at a lower histamine diet and try taking some antihistamines to see if it minimizes reactions. Lemons, Limes, and Egg whites are a histamine liberator as are several other foods that make make allergies worse. http://www.histamineintolerance.org.uk/about/the-food-diary/the-food-list/ It could be your... -
I went to a atkins/Keto diet, and body build...despite the celiac. I use the high fat diet using nut butters, avocado, eggs, dark leafy greens, cocoa nibs, baked goods made with nut flours and coconut oil and tones of vegan protein powders (I can not eat meat as I do not digest them well) I found certain supplements help preserve muscle mass like BCAAs, and...

There is a company called Nutcrumbs that makes grain free breading crumbs from nuts, you can also use Protes Chips and pulse in a food processor.....seriously vegan nacho cheddar Doritos like breading, the coconut one on sea food, the BBQ on chicken....the chili and lime on a mexican styled fried steak.....I think I did a recipe post on my methods of breading... -

The more I'm "in," the worse it gets!
Ennis-TX replied to Igiveup's topic in Dermatitis Herpetiformis
B vitamins works synergistically...taking just one is pointless....Look at something like Liquid Health Energy & Stress, if your having neurological issues then add in a dose of their Neurological support both are liquids take 1 tbsp each 3 times a day in a glass of something. I would suggest a coconut or almond milk yogurt no sugars if you can find... -
Silicone if it has scractches, cracks, or tiny cuts in it those will retain gluten, acrylic..if cracked or scratched can retain gluten....but have you put gluten in the food processor or just used it for veggies? Ennis-TX replied to Jennifer Jimenez's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Many do not understand a disease or a situation until they themselves have gone through it. Fact of life. Honestly we get this a lot and I once joked about starting a halfway house for new celiacs providing a save place, and doing cooking lessons and lessons on reading labels and CC. Good to see you jump on the initiative, the nordicware stuff... -

Living With Celiac Disease - Stop Being a Victim
Ennis-TX replied to CDInSanDiego's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I have mixed perspectives with Celiac, like mentioned above the term "Celiac Disease" comes off with a negative feeling. I call it celiac and refer to it as a "Genetic Condition" people here will hear "disease" and run for the hills and treat you like a leper. I was adopted.....lived with a gluten family...."Victim" is a great way to describe it early... -
With celiac we commonly have issues absorbing Magnesium, this can cause constipation...the kind that even a entire package of exlax does nothing for (been there). You need Natural Vitality Calm magnesium Powder, you can get it on amazon, start off with 1/4tsp (1-2g) in a tall glass of a warm beverage, raise the dose by 1/4tsp (1-2g) a day til you get loose...

Hmm question have you read the 101 newbie section? Where the eggs cooked in a dedicated pan or the same pan your parents cooked gluten food in? https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/91878-newbie-info-101/ I was first diagnosed when living with my parents years ago....was a nightmare. I can tell you what I learned. IT IS THEIR KITCHEN, and god knows you... -
