As mentioned above I would get the full panel of test and the biopsy to confirm and keep eating gluten daily til then.....going off gluten then having to reintroduce it later for testing makes it MUCH worse. Open Original Shared Link Feel free to post your test here if you need help interpreting results....not many doctors are celiac savy.

Just bring your own food, or your own microwave cooking kit. I keep a set of Nordic ware microwave omelette makers, everyday bowl, grill plates with splatter covers and steamers for traveling, they also rice cookers etcs. Put down a paper towel, mix up your meals and cook in the microwave from whole foods...and bring safe snacks, bars, MREs you can have....

Non-stop Itching / Skin Crawling, No Rash

Life changing tip with magnesium citrate dosing....get a scale and go by grams. I spent a month measuring it....that 2tsp can be 4g or up to 12g.....it depends on how you scoop it and how settled the powder in the container is. Natural Vitality Calm is what I used for the longest time, recent bowl habits have me scaling back to more magnesium from doctors... -
Symptoms questions about being glutened
Ennis-TX replied to Bookgirl32's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dairy should be cut out....with celiac damage your damaged villi will not work with the enzymes to break them down...til you heal it needs to be removed...some they can have it later....or like me it becomes life time no. I take Nordicware microwave cook ware when I go on vacation. You can get grill plates with splatter covers, omelette makers, steamers... -

Most of these diets add in with added oils that you use for cooking, and always having stuff like avocado, nut butters, etc for snacks....I managed between 3000-4000 calories a day but I eat all day and body build. NOTE I tend to eat a ton of nut butters, seed butters, seed meals, avocado, egg whites and sometimes fish, and I make grain free low carb breads... -

Keep a food diary, remove say all starches, potatoes, fruit, etc, and go to a keto diet of meat, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, avocados, eggs, for a week. Then try to reintroduce with say sweet potatoes (easier then white potatoes with lower glycemic index) for a day remove and and record changes. Repeat with other things like a apple, bowl or rice, etc. trying... -

I also follow a paleo diet with almost keto in nature but a bit higher in protein....I have Ulcerative Colitis in addition to celiac that flare to carbs/sugars with gas, distention, bleeding etc. I can say moderate to large amounts of cassava flour will bloat/trigger mine, same with tapioca starch. I found the key to avoiding the bloat was to avoid all... -
Umm frack the medication, the issue is intially genetic....I want the gene for this turned off with a type of RNA Crispr Vaccine (RNA type would be temporary and avoid long term DNA changes but require boosters).

Yeah CC is a huge issue in the industry and finding safe foods is a real pain in the ass...even more so when they put fresh produce right next to a damned open air bakery at grocery stores....I prefer bagged/clamshelled ones, and ONLY CERTAIN brands of frozen and canned do that do not do those "sauced" lines using the same packing equipment just hosed down...

I only have this one symptom when eating gluten
Ennis-TX replied to jdsalinas's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
LOL yeah if you dose too high with NV you will have a issue with D. Large doses of Magnesium Citrate are used as laxatives....if you want to "push it" try using grams for exact dosing and around 12-18g will have you dropping cow pies....I normally use 8-12g as higher will have me dropping pies...everyone is different in what they need...I used to require... -

I have no issues with it, I mix up the slipper elm and marshmallow from 3 capsules each of the nature way one for ease of measurement (I have issues with the capsules) dump it into a bowl mix it up and down it. Then chase it with a glass of NV calm mixed into aloe vera and water or green tea. Just watch your dosing and cut back if it gives you loose stools... -
Severe Reaction to Gluten, Celiac?
Ennis-TX replied to Jhew1992's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
IT does sound like celiac but she would have to go through a gluten challenge to test this....and from what you said this seems impossible. 12 weeks for the blood test but only 2 weeks required to test with endoscope and biopsy. https://celiac.org/celiac-disease/understanding-celiac-disease-2/diagnosing-celiac-disease/screening/ Without a offical diagnosis...- 8 replies

Should I get retested?
Ennis-TX replied to mcez's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Did they do the full blood panel? Do you have copies of the test so someone here can help you interpret the results?(many doctors are not celiac savy). Did they do the endoscope and biopsy? The test requires eating gluten for 12 weeks for the blood test, and 2 weeks for the endoscope and biopsy. Some people do not show up on the blood test, and with... -
Yeah I would start by reading the newbie 101 thread and how to clean out the kitchen what to replace, and go to a whole foods only diet to start off. Quick starting with using Nordicware microwave cook ware so you do not need to replace everything and get the omelette makers, rice cookers, steamers and grill plates with splatter covers. Foil line baking...

Update - Am I on the right track?
Ennis-TX replied to aquilter16's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity, some have it and can react just as bad to gluten or even worse then celiacs. I think I have a saved page of symptoms. 1. Acne, Flushed Skin, or Rashes Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity can manifest itself as a chronic skin condition such as a rash, acne, or red/flushed cheeks, but these conditions could also be hormonal.... -
Update - Am I on the right track?
Ennis-TX replied to aquilter16's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Even those without celiac can get food intolerance issues or sensitivities....those with celiac, auto immune disease, or damaged guts are ALOT more prone. Just consider the vinegar on your NO list...hell I have some odd NO foods and ingredients....on and off I get random issues with plain iceberg lettuce making me violently puke...I found store bough veggies... -
Thoughts for the guilt and depression? Extra B-vitamins (Liquid Health Energy & Stress), Magnesium, and My personal favorite for depression is cocoa nibs, or sugar free chocolate like Lakanto Bars. Guilt free satisfaction with healthy fats, CBD Oil in a vape pen and munching on seeds with healthy fats. The whole keto/low carb diet seems to attribute...

My celiac led to ulcerative colitis......mine also flares to dairy, soy, gluten, and the rare triggers of fructose and glucose. I had to adapt a paleo/keto diet bit closer to a atkins diet to keep it under control and watch out for spices. And some other things. I posted on some treatments I use.....my RX got to expensive without insurnace and I had...

Fatigue - Athlete
Ennis-TX replied to Jmun5's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I had to take a few years of going easy with working out after diagnosis and after a few years of the gluten free diet and healing I am doing weight training, resistance training, and trying to body build. I still can not go out running or anything too extreme as I tire and have issue catching my breath. I started having issues with this way back in Jr High... -
Wedding Frustrations
Ennis-TX replied to Jordanaustino's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
I would suggest against calling them on on social media or "destroying them" I would suggest reviewing them on like "FindMeGlutenFree" etc and warning to make sure about their food. The food gets thrown out and I kick them out of the house and would be a long time before I trust them again. This would be the equivalent of someone making... -
I love omelettes myself, mix it up with different seasonings like hte blend from Big AXE spice and add in different veggies/meats. Fun things I used to do like scrambled eggs, pour tomato sauce over them and eat with tortillas or lettuce wraps Migas, crush up some Protes Chips, or plain fritos in a skillet, drop in some eggs scramble it up serve with salsa...

Gluten free/ dairy free and losing weight
Ennis-TX replied to Kylebailey1994's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Nut butters and sunflower butter are great and easy ways to load on the healthy fat calories and build up, I use them homemade seed butters, vegan protein powders, and protein chips, nut based cheeses galore. Unsure if you can have nuts, but sunflower butter (sunbutter) or Paleo Butter from Julian Bakery are hypoallergenic, the organic sunbutter in the green... -
NCGS - nerve or muscle problems?
Ennis-TX replied to 73DAllen's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Ditto on cyclingladys comments, but I wanted to point out some other things, if you have celiac you will suffer with nutrient deficiencies, some of the major ones will cause the numbness, tingling, and join issues like Magnesium, full spectrum of B-vitamins, vitamin D, iron etc. Magnesium sounds like the major one for you do look up the symtoms and see...
