You need to be eating wheat & gluten for several months to get an accurate result. This site needs to be sent to all doctors so they can learn about celiac's because most of them are clueless..... mamaw
  4. welcome don't ya just love the doctors!!!! Clueless!!!!!! Ask for testing bloodwork, endo & colonoscope--- three biopsies too. My grandson at age 3 had all this done so you may want to check your child also. Just don't stop eating wheat & gluten if you are going to do testing. You will not get valid results. good luck mamaw
  5. Hello It sounds like celiac's but don't go on the diet if you are going to get an endocscope and a colonoscopy because it can alter the results. I did the D & C thing for over 2 months -it seemed nothing was working correctly in my system.   6. I eat Breyer's vanilla and once in awhile Edy'swith no problems.If i can't read what's in it I don't eat it. Some of that stuff in the ingredients list is scary. There is many mainstream products you can use. Don't give up , it's getting better everyday. mamaw
  7. I think WHole Foods is pricey and ours does not have alot of gluten-free.I have had their sausages and I didn't get sick and they are clearly labeled ingredients. And they can keep their bakehouse stuff as I 'm not wild about it either..... mamaw

  9. I samples the oats from the cream hill in canada and they were wonderful. I didn't get sick , but I think both websites say to start out very slow when adding them to your diet.....   13. I also have the eye problems going on for a long time now. Along with the rosacea I have the cornea erosion, where the cornea flakes off in micro bits. I was told it was was a part of rosacea that some get. Mine feels like I have an eyelash in my eye but there's nothing that I can see in my eye.   14. here's a quick one: boneless chicken 1 1/2 to 2 cups brown rice (uncooked) gluten-free dried onion soup mix ( 1 pkg) 2 cans gluten-free chicken broth bake 350 until liquid is asborbed and chicken is tender. Cover with foil when putting in oven. I add a vegetable side and walla. quick & easy but so tasty!!!!!!!!!!! enjoy mamaw

  18. Isn't it a shame that these doctors make millions and we have to provide them the correct info about celiac's!!!! Something doesn't seem right here...... Maybe they should pay us with a free visit for the great info we provide to them......I agree alot are brain dead when it comes to celiac's. Most of all this is really sad....... mamaw
  19. sorry you are not feeling well. You really must watch everything that you put in your mouth. I do know that Dietz & Watson and Boar's Head deli meats are gluten-free, but again you must check it one. I only eat the corned beef and turkey so I'm not sure about the rest of them..... hope you get better soon. mamaw

  22. We buy the casing and and they make hand stuffers . You put the casing on the end of the stuffer and start the sausage mix , tie it ouff at the length you want. We buy the casing from a meat store. mamaw
