    I will "4th" this suggestion Sometimes going gluten free is not the answer--especially if SOMETHING else is going on. Time to go back to the doc who suggested giving up gluten and tell him/her what you have told us. You should not be feeling worse--not for this long, IMHO.

    Running water through a charcoal filter is not the same as taking activated charcoal tablets, if that is your worry. The activated carbon stays in the filter, it does not go into the water.
