  1. @DrakeHeyman welcome to the forum! This thread is older, so some of the original posters may not reply, but your symptoms are common among those with untreated celiac disease. Have you been diagnosed with CD, and if so, are you on a gluten-free diet? The good news is that many of the symptoms will disappear in most cases, provided a person with celiac...
  2. @Talavar welcome to the forum! Are you a diagnosed celiac, and are you taking diatomaceous earth to help you recover?
  3. I've not heard of the company, but do they offer gluten-free lunches at elementary schools? I've seen colleges make the shift and offer gluten-free options for students, but did not know that other schools might be doing this.
  4. Hello @Kwinks428 and welcome to the forum! Do you also have celiac disease or gluten intolerance? If not, or you've never been tested for celiac disease, your symptoms could also be due to gluten sensitivity, so you might want to get tested. If you do have CD, then be sure you're diet has been gluten-free, as many celiacs end up getting small amounts...
  5. I understand now. For over the counter medications keep an eye on "inactive ingredients," as that is where gluten would usually be found if there is any. Feel free to ask about specific products, or ingredients if you need further help, and welcome to the forum!
  6. Celiac.com 01/25/2021 - What's the connection between celiac disease, and cognitive impairment? Does the connection change over time? Does following a gluten-free diet help reduce cognitive impairment? There really hasn't been much good...
  7. We don't have them on our list, so you would need to contact them. In the USA they could not advertise it as gluten-free.
  8. Please ignore the spam that was posted, which is now deleted. I had similar symptoms which took around 6 months before I saw a real change, and perhaps 2 years before they stopped completely.
  9. I think good old Pepto Bismol can be helpful, but are you talking about dealing with accidental gluten ingestion? Do you have celiac disease?
  10. If you can't avoid eating out, consider GliadinX (a sponsor here), or another AN-PEP based enzyme. This may help mitigate small amounts of cross-contamination that can happen in restaurants.
  11. Hi @von, welcome to the forum! This is definitely possible, especially if your getting gluten contamination in your diet. Iodine is also an issue for many people with DH. Here are some past threads you may find helpful:
  12. Technically speaking, if you've been 100% gluten-free for two years it is very doubtful that you would suddenly get DH. If, however, you were getting small amounts of cross-contamination, perhaps when eating outside your home, then this is definitely possible. Also, having one autoimmune immune disease leaves you more likely to getting others, so psoriasis...
  13. Hi @Anne Chopping, and welcome to the forum! It's great to hear how positive things have gone for you, and your story provides hope for many who are younger and still wonder how this disease will affect their lives.
  14. Hi @Laudia, welcome to the forum! The topic you replied to here is quite old, so you may not get replies from the original posters. Are you on a gluten-free diet? Have you been diagnosed with celiac disease? If so, it can take up to two years for many of the symptoms to reside.
  15. @Ffinley Welcome to the forum! You mentioned that your celiac disease test was negative. Do you still have the results? It would be great if you could share those with us. I ask because it's possible that you may have gluten sensitivity without celiac disease, a condition referred to a non-celiac wheat sensitivity, as well as other names. Your antibodies...
  16. Welcome to the forum! Hopefully you've been eating gluten daily until today's test, and you likely should continue this until your doctor tells you otherwise. Depending on your blood test results your doctor may order an endoscopy to verify the celiac disease diagnosis, and you would need to keep eating gluten until all tests are completed. Also...
  17. @Theodore, welcome to the forum! This thread is pretty old, but yes, your on the right track here. Many people with autoimmune issues seem to improve greatly on the Autoimmune diet/Carnivore diet. I've considered doing this myself for various reasons, but haven't been brave enough yet to make the leap.
  18. Welcome to the forum! I need to update this article, but if you haven't seen this it may be helpful to you. I also recommend keeping a food diary, as perhaps you have additional food intolerance issues.
  19. @Doreen Henry, welcome to the forum and sorry you were glutened! This article may be helpful:
  20. Celiac.com 01/23/2021 - If you love chiles rellenos, but had to ditch them when you gave up gluten, this wonderful gluten-free version ditches the batter, but not the flavor. These batter-free, gluten-free chile relleno-style stuffed poblano...
  21. It is naturally gluten-free according to the ingredients.
  22. It's been a little over a month for you, but it can take two years to recover: Keep a food diary for other foods that may be causing you issues, for example main celiacs can't have dairy until their guts are fully healed.
