I can't find them anywhere! I'm in NC and looked in a harris teeter and a food lion. When i didn't see them on the shelf I went to customer service and asked if I could request a product and they basically told me no I would just have to keep coming back and checking. grr...i was so hoping to make cookies this week :(

I want to hear how they are too though in the off chance they do get them here in Fayettenam :P

I am in Fort Worth, TX and am not surprised that I haven't found them yet. Considering how long it took to have the gluten free versions of chex on the shelves, I am hoping by July 1 at this rate. In the meantime enjoying some Pamela's Extreme Chocolate Mini Cookies.

oh i was hoping to have it by saturday which is my birthday.

i don't think the betty crocker mixes are out but you should try the Bob's RedMill gluten free chocolate cake mix, it's really good.

I heard that they were supposed to come out June 1st. I went on the website to locate which stores would have them and none pop up.

Dallas area here, and I forgot to look today while I was at the store. Will try to check in the next couple of days and report back.

RE: Chex - it took quite a while for me to be able to find the Honey Nut Chex, and have just recently found the Chocolate Chex. Still no Strawberry or Cinnamon, though.

Is there a link on the Betty Crocker site to look for store locations that carry an item??

Thanks

Juliebove Rising Star

I looked at Central Market in Mill Creek, WA and they didn't have them. Not sure that was the best place to look. They carry a lot of gluten-free stuff already and tend to have more organic stuff.

Go to www.generalmills.com/corporate/brands/index.aspx and on the left column there is a link that says product locator. Click on that.

A person in my local group found them at Kroger with the gluten cake mixes. She said they were 4.95 a box.

happy birthday Pete! i'm hoping that they are in NJ before my birthday on July 3rd :-)

Ditto the questions. So anxious to try the mixes ;)

I did find Kix again that is the new formula. Haven't seen it since January. Has the corn cob on the front and not made with oats (doesn't state gluten-free yet)

Thanks. What part of Jersey are you in?

In Southwestern Pa a local grocery chain will have the betty crocker next week. $ 3.99 a box.....

I see you've already learned what the rest of NC calls Fayetteville

Don't hold your breath for Harris Teeter to carry it. Not saying they won't, but don't hold your breath. I would try Kroger first, if you have one close by. They also have some Pamela's mixes, and some Bob's Red Mill mixes.

I am in CO and have not found any of the new gluten-free mixes. Still have not found the strawberry, chocolate or cinnamon chex. I have found the honey nut but only at SuperTarget. King Soopers (aka Kroger) has had the rice and corn chex but no other flavors.

I am so anxious for these new things to hit the shelves!

It's not available to Canadians yet...don't know how long we'll be waiting. For those in the US who haven't found them yet, try asking your store manager to bring them in.

Yes! We have them here in Missouri. I bought them today at Schnucks. They were $3.99 a box. There were four varieties; devils food cake, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and vanilla cake. I bought the cookies and brownies. I made the cookies today and they were really good. They tasted like "regular" cookies, very sweet and no strange after taste. My picky son ate three at one sitting. He loved them. My toddler daughter said, "More!" after she ate one. I am going back to to store tomorrow and buying more!

i'm live in north ocean county, but i work out in princeton... are you a new jerseyan?

Betty Crocker's items won't be on shelves for 2-3 more months. A friends wife work's there and gave me some samples yesterday. We live in SoCal and she has been handing out samples. They are trying to get the word out. I made the choc. chip cookies from a box and they were easy and wonderful!!! My husband had four and I had 1 1/2. And most importantly no sign of being glutened or cc. I hope they get them out soon.

Thats not true. Its been posted that people have bought them already in stores and the company confirms they are out in some stores now.

All we have is Martin's and Food Kitty around here, neither of which has them yet. I really didn't expect Food Lion to - if I had to shop there I'd either go broke or hungry because they stock virtually NOTHING we eat and if they do you need to take out a loan to buy it. I DID expect Martin's to, since they have 4 aisles of what amounts to a "health food store", complete with 6 or 8 freezers, soy and coconut yogurt, gluten-free dog food, every kind of gluten-free pasta, fresh and frozen gluten-free bread, really rather amazing for a "chain" and at reasonable prices. I pay less than $2.50 a box for the Nut Thins crackers (which I would adore regardless of my gluten status). I did ask today at Martin's at the Customer Service desk and they're supposed to call me tomorrow. I'm going to try the only other store (Weis, which I believe is part of Giant Eagle) around tomorrow; but it's like 25 miles away. We did have a Kroger at one time but people just didn't warm up to it and it's now a Food Lion (ugh).

Dying to try the mixes, which is really funny, since I've never, ever, been a cake, cookie, pastry, pasta kind of gal.

Hi, I posted before about my son's legs shaking after gluten. I did end up starting him on vit b and happily he actually started sleeping better and longer.  Back to my 4 year old. She had gone back to meltdowns, early wakes, and exhaustion. We tested everything again and her ferritin was lowish again (16) and vit d was low. After a couple weeks on supplements she is cheerful, sleeping better and looks better. The red rimmed eyes and dark circles are much better.   AND her Ttg was a 3!!!!!! So, we are crushing the gluten-free diet which is great. But WHY are her iron and vit d low if she's not getting any gluten????  She's on 30mg of iron per day and also a multivitamin and vit d supplement (per her dr). That helped her feel better quickly. But will she need supplements her whole life?? Or is there some other reason she's not absorbing iron? We eat very healthy with minimal processed food. Beef maybe 1x per week but plenty of other protein including eggs daily.  She also says her tummy hurts every single morning. That was before the iron (do not likely a side effect). Is that common with celiac?

Celiac disease is the most likely cause, but here are articles about the other possible causes:

Hi @Atl222 As @trents points out, there could be many reasons for this biopsy result.  I am interested to know, is your gastroenterologist concerned?  Also, are your blood tests showing steady improvement over the years? I remember when I had my last biopsy, several years after diagnosis, mine came back with with raised lymphocytes but no villous damage, too! In my own case, my consultant wasn't remotely concerned - in fact, he said I might still get this result even if all I ever did was eat nothing but rice and water.   My coeliac blood tests were still steadily improving, albeit slowly, which was reassuring.
    • trents
Welcome to the celiac.com community, @Atl222! Yes, your increased lymphocytes could be in response to oats or it could possibly be cross contamination from gluten that is getting into your diet from some unexpected source but not enough to damage the villi. And I'm certain that increased lymphocytes can be caused by other things besides celiac disease or gluten/oats exposure. See attachment. But you might try eliminating oats to start with and possibly dairy for a few months and then seek another endoscopy/biopsy to see if there was a reduction in lymphocyte counts.
