Our good friend, Beverly, (Mtndog) is going in for some medical testing today at 1PM (eastern time).

I'm thinking good, positive thoughts for you this morning Bev--and I'm glad that at least the waiting is just about over! That can be brutal....

Know that we all love you here, and are behind you in spirit :)

Prayers that it all goes well. I found that the test wasn't as bad as everyone says ... it's just weird.

Mine wasn't so bad, and hope yours comes back fine as well. It is always the waiting for results or anything that is the hardest

Well the results are in...sorry I'm so late in posting but there was a celebratory lunch at Legal Sea Foods including a celebratory Pomer-ita (con tequila!) followed by a LONG celebratory nap :D

So, the good news is no tumor, no cyst but one sore and slightly swollen lymph node! Good for "the girls" and the tassel twirling may resume (but still don't know what's causing the pain in armpit and arm). But at least it's not BC (and I DON"T mean Boston College :P ).

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
